Abstract

This thesis is intended to: 1. study the Development of Learning and Teaching of Phrapariyattidhamma School, Pali Section, of the Sangha in Bangphli district,  Samutprakarn province,  2. study the opinions of the novices and  monks towards Learning and Teaching of Phrapariyattidhamma School, Pali Section, of the Sangha in Bangphli district,  Samutprakarn province, 3. study problems, obstacles and suggestions on the efficiency of the learning and Teaching Development of Phrapariyattidhamma School, Pali Section, of the Sangha in Bangphli district,  Samutprakarn province.

                 The research methodology was the quantitative research , as a survey with questionnaires that had the reliability test at 0.976 of a sample group of 104 monks and novices in Bangphli District, analyzed by social science program the statistics used are frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and F-test. With one-way analysis of variance and qualitative research with in-depth interviews with 8 key informants by using the descriptive content analysis techniques.

The findings of research were as follows :

                 1. The Monks and Novices had Opinions on the Development of Learning and Teaching Development of Phrapariyattidhamma School, Pali Section, of the Sangha in Bangphli District,  Samutprakarn Province. The Overall was at a High Level (  =4.24, SD=0.465) and When Considered in each aspect, it  found that it is at a high level in all aspects. ( =4.26,S.D.=0.501), followed by the budget of support ( = 4.24, SD = 0.510) and the least was the curriculum ( = 4.21, SD = 0.490).

                 2. The findings of the opinions of the monks and novices with different educational backgrounds had opinions on the Learning and Teaching Development of Phrapariyattidhamma School, Pali Section, of the Sangha in Bangphli district,  Samutprakarn province was not different. It rejected the research hypothesis. But the monks and novices who have different status, age and education,  had the different opinions on the Learning and Teaching Development of Phrapariyattidhamma School, Pali Section, of the Sangha in Bangphli district,  Samutprakarn province, were significantly different at level 0.05. It accepted the research hypothesis.

                 3. Problems, obstacles and suggestions for the Learning and Teaching Development of Phrapariyattidhamma School, Pali Section, of the Sangha in Bangphli district,  Samutprakarn province, found that 1) the curriculum has not been updated to be modern and no interesting  2.Teaching and learning management aspect , it is still causing of  boring learning. 3) Examination and evaluation aspect , there is an examination once a year and still lacks of the standard for examination. 4) The budget support aspect, still lacks of the factors to develop and support teaching and learning.  Therefore, the curriculum and teaching and learning management should be improved. The modern technology should be introduced and should arrange to have the examination and evaluation of the study twice a year and support the scholarships for learners and the teachings to the instructors to have the motivation to develop learning and Teaching of Phrapariyattidhamma School, Pali Section, , must have the plan  for changing to have more teaching efficiency, to have modern teaching, develop more technology  and have the examination and evaluation of the study twice a year for no boring study and more interesting Pali study and should have the budget support of teaching and learning for motivation of learners and teachers.
